Today I cut a beautiful bouquet of autumn hydrangeas, their lovely heavy heads drooping to the ground in an extravagance of fragile beauty. Delicate and bountiful the petals traced with tiny lines, they are a plant version of a wise woman's face, with their journey from white to lime and finally old rose visible in each stem. I look at them and feel myself anxious for their beauty. Do not fade too fast lovely ladies! Enjoy the day. What are you going to do to enjoy nature's beauty this weekend?
